My name is Mike Salazar the owner of Salt2Summit Guide Service. I am a fully licensed and insured captain with a 100 ton Master Mate certification. I am thirty two years old and have twenty two years of experience as an avid outoorsman. Hunting and fishing year around from the mouth of the Columbia River to eastern Washington. I hunt Ducks and Geese in eastern Washington, Deer and Elk in eastern Washington, Oregon and Idaho.

I began fishing by staying at Vancouver, Washington near the Columbia River from late January until September. Fishing late January for Spring Chinook and Sturgeon. Spring season turns to summer run Chinook and Steelhead around June 1st, completing my year chasing the fall Chinook and Steelhead up the Columbia River to the Snake River and Hanford Reach. Along the way hitting all the good spots at their peak times, such as the Cowlitz River, Lewis River, Willamette River, Sandy River, Wind River, Drano Lake, White Salmon, Klickitat and especially the Snake River. Durring my 22 years I have harvested many trophys from 160 inch Mule Eeer, 170 inch Whitetails to Chinook Salmon weighing over 50 pounds and Steelhead over 24 pounds.
